Introduction:-

Computer is an essential part of our life. When we came across a discussion about digital world, the first keyword comes in our mind is 'Computer'. 

                                   

             In digital era when we performing some tasks like withdrawal or deposit of money from bank, payment of bills such as electric , phone bills , Government subsidy, online trading via e-commercial websites,stock market information, scientific research and innovations, working in a office, education system, diagnosis of various diseases. ..etc all these are related directly or indirectly with the computer. 

Computers present everywhere. It's not only make our lives easier but it act as a single platform, where we get efficient solution. 

It's play a considerable role in connecting with the rest world. Earlier,  there were not much source of connecting with the world.

             Computer doesn't necessarily meant that there need a Desktop, CPU (Central Processing Unit), Mouse, Printer... etc, it can be any device which can compute and execute data according to the instructions programmed in it like smartphones, robots also called a computer device. 

Almost every electronic device  perform task on the basis of "input - process - output" is a computer, but their work area is different according to their needs.

Here we discuss only about a computer which perform variety of works, so we have a general idea about what is computer and how it's work.

Definition:-

Computer is a programmable electronic device, that processes data according to a set of instructions.

 These set of instructions are consist of arithmetical and logical operations. It consists of hardware and software, and can found in a variety of configurations.
